It is a physical asset which achieves superior returns because supply decreases over time due to consumption; whilst demand rises as the wine improves and the number of consumers increases. Company Snapshot:		Royce Murphy, CEO, presented Real-Status at our event in November 2010 securing £1.38m. Previously, Royce has built and sold two software companies. A key problem for CTOs of large companies is the ability to understand the dependencies between thousands of applications, servers, switches and other devices in their IT infrastructure. Real-Status’ product HyperGlance uses computer games software technology to create a real-time 3D model of a large company’s entire ICT infrastructure showing the inter-dependencies. However, companies already spend $1.3 billion on “dashboard and analysis software”, and 75% are not satisfied with their end-end IT management. HyperGlance allows CTOs to navigate through their networks and base key IT management decisions on up-to-date information. The Company completed customer testing in Q2, has started winning end customers and resellers, and Citrix and Oracle are already valuating HyperGlance.

Company Snapshot:		www.Guess2Give.com expands the pool of people who are fundraising and donating, and monetises untapped fundraising opportunities. In essence, an online sweepstake that you set-up for your event. For example, if you were running the London Marathon, you’d ask friends to guess how long it would take. Each guess is £3 with up to £2.50 (including Gift Aid) going to charity and 50p going to the prize fund. The person who guesses closest to your marathon time wins the prize fund. Everyone who makes a guess is kept up to date via Facebook, Twitter and email. The challenge and competition of guessing the result, the ensuing banter and chance to win engages everyone, but the main winner is always the charity. Anything that can be measured can now become a fundraising event using Guess2Give. Whether it’s guessing the length of a best-man’s speech , the weight of all the fish on a fishing weekend or how the far a paper plane will fly. The current practice in cervical screening (i.e. smears and referrals to colposcopy) involves a significant measure of subjectivity and has many shortcomings including: poor diagnostic performance (false results) resulting in missed positives and over-treatment; time delay in reporting results to patients; & significant costs.Zilico Ltd has developed the next generation of cervical cancer diagnostics, using technology which examines the structure of tissues through electrical impedance (resistance) measurement, providing a real-time and objective scientifically-proven method to differentiate between normal, pre cancerous and cancerous cells. The first product has been trialed on over 500 patients and presented in peer reviewed journals.The company’s board includes; an ex-Medical Director (Boots Healthcare); a NHS Trust Director; CEO with 15 years commercial experience including a VC backed life-sciences company which he saw through to a successful exit.Since incorporation in 2006, Zilico has focused on developing a commercial device aimed at the colposcopy market. Institutional investors include Exomedica Ltd, Fusion IP plc, and Viking Fund. The company is now seeking funding to launch the first product.
